ABOUT IAN
They say that only 10% of an Iceberg is visible – the rest is hidden from view. Now we’re not suggesting that Ian has icy depths – but there is far more to him than meets the eye! Coming to commercial photography from a self-taught & professionally mentored angle via a totally different profession; Ian does things differently - his ability to say it like it is, ignore egos and to make thngs happen, means that clients return for more over and over again...
Several years back Ian took the make-or-break decision to leave the security of employment as a Chartered Surveyor to forge his new career-path and to embark into entrepreneurship with the assistance of several well known photographers – including the late, great, David Facey. Ian’s photography business literally took-off (gaining several aerial and ground based comissions) - his work-ethic quickly became recognised by clients (particulalry due to his no nosense approach and empathy with comissioning buyers) creating images images on time, in budget and to specifcation. Ian is now a sought after commercial photographer working in a range of areas; particulalry within the realms of aerial, active lifestyle and and adventure sports - for both advertising and commercial photography clients.
An impressive client and publication list continues to develop, with the arrival of the new Studio at “3 Degrees West” and with several other services in pipeline – Ian and his team of exprts are without question the team to deliver the 'Seeing is believing' mantra...
